Hi,
thanks for the information! I must have immunity by now! :)
I work in a multidisciplinary team for people with hemophilia for 14 years now in Sao Paulo. Visit me at www.blood4.wordpress.com
I 'll be happy to hear from you and if you have tips for our boys who travel, it would be nice.

As with everything, moderation is key. Being careful is ok, scared is not!

Yes there are bugs everywhere, but we also come equipped with an immune system. While I am careful while eating out, I also take every care to see that my immunity is boosted in all natural ways possible.

Thanks for the video post tho, will help a lot of people wake up to what goes on in the restaurant industry.

Nurses know a lot about hygiene -- but it seems like every day there's a new (and more gross) way to spread nasty little bugs around. We can't live in fear of the lemon, or fork or hotel remote, for that matter. But if it's easy enough to avoid the nasties, why not avoid them? By-the-way, I'm never eating out of bowl of bar peanuts or salty snacks. Now that's scary!

Hey I'm all for lemons! I use them at home all the time when I cook or prepare a drink. I LOVE lemons!

I do have a problem with employees not washing their hands after going to the bathroom and grabbing lemons without gloves. Watching this video disturbed me.

It has nothing to do with fear. It is just filthy!

The lemon story is a runaway train. Much of the bacteria found on the lemon is the same you'll find on any vegetable or fruit in the supermarket or in your home. As this video pertains to restaurants and dining out, I suppose the same could be said for forks, knives, spoons, plates, glassware and anything touched by servers, cooks, managers or other employees. And how about the lemons or other food in hospitals, you don't think we'll find these bacteria there as well? I got news for ya'. Break out your test kit.

Let's stop living our lives in fear and start liviing again...with lemons.
